Accessing the Reporting System

Accessing the CAA Report in Armature Fabric ("Fabric")

For CAA reports due on February 1, you will be able to access the system on October 1. For CAA reports due August 1, you will be able to access the system on April 1. Data collection forms are available on the CAA’s Resources webpage to assist you in your planning and data collection efforts prior to entering faculty, course, and clinical site data into Fabric. An email notification will be sent to all program directors announcing access to Fabric with important details about how to access the system and expectations for completing your CAA report.

Changing the Signatory for CAA Reports

For CAA purposes, the program director serves as the signatory on CAA reports; editors are not authorized to submit CAA reports. Programs must notify the CAA of program director changes—including temporary appointments and sabbaticals—as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the change. The program must submit notification in writing [DOCX] to the CAA Accreditation Office. Upon receipt of the official notification, the accreditation staff will update the program’s accreditation records and CAA report signatory. As a reminder, this official notification is for CAA Accreditation purposes only. Any notifications to other parties (i.e., state licensing boards, ASHA Certification, etc.) must be done separately.

Adding Editors for CAA Reports

Program directors may request that additional users be assigned to an application or annual report instrument to assist with completing the report. This process is managed by Accreditation staff—and by design the reporting instrument will only be assigned to the program director (the signatory described above).
