Welcome Gretchen Ehret Hoshaw to the Accreditation Team

Gretchen Ehret Hoshaw joined the Accreditation Team in April 2021 as the new Associate Director of Accreditation Operations. Gretchen will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities related to the development and implementation of accreditation policies and procedures and working very closely with ASHA volunteers and academic programs. An ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist, she previously served as a valuable member of ASHA's certification team as the Associate Director of Certification, Programs.

About the CAA

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accredits eligible clinical doctoral programs in audiology and master's degree programs in speech-language pathology. The CAA relies on a dedicated corps of volunteers serving as Council members and site visitors to accomplish the work of the accreditation program.
