In May 2020, Nancy Ambrose took on her new role as the associate director of accreditation operations. Nancy joined ASHA in September 2019 as the manager of accreditation program effectiveness during which time she made a number of significant contributions that led to operational improvements in the accreditation unit. Nancy is an accomplished program manager and brings over 20 years of solid experiences and a strong background in credentialing/licensure, higher education, and people management, as well as expertise in operations and project management.
Prior to ASHA, she worked for the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates for 15 years as the assistant director of operations for the Clinical Skills Evaluation, a national physician licensure examination. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Temple University and is a certified project manager.
Her responsibilities include overseeing the operational activities related to the CAA to ensure timely delivery and effectiveness of accreditation policies, processes, and services. Nancy will serve as the primary contact related to accreditation processes and services, online platform support, invoicing, and program complaints.
