Call for Applications for the CAA and the CAA Nominating Committee

Applications are now being accepted for volunteer positions on the CAA and the CAA Nominating committee for terms beginning January 1, 2027.  Online applications are due by May 1, 2026.

  • CAA Open Positions: 
    • Academic audiologist representing accredited audiology academic programs (1 position available, 4-year term) 
    • Academic speech-language pathologists representing accredited speech-language pathology academic programs (2 positions available, 4-year terms) 
    • Audiology practitioner involved in the full-time delivery of clinical services in non-academic settings (1 position available, 4-year term) 
    • Speech-language pathology practitioner involved in the full-time delivery of clinical services in non-academic settings (1 position available, 4-year term) 
  • CAA Nominating Committee Open Positions (1-year terms): 
    • Academic member representing an accredited audiology program (1 position available) 
    • Academic member representing an accredited speech-language pathology program (1 position available) 
    • Practitioner member representing audiology (1 position available) 
    • Practitioner member representing speech-language pathology (1 position available)

About the CAA

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accredits eligible clinical doctoral programs in audiology and master's degree programs in speech-language pathology. The CAA relies on a dedicated corps of volunteers serving as Council members and site visitors to accomplish the work of the accreditation program.
