Welcome, Kate Parks, to the Accreditation Team

Kate Parks joined the Accreditation Team in November 2022, as the new accreditation program effectiveness manager. Kate assists CAA programs as part of the accreditation process and works to ensure that the Accreditation Team is meeting deadlines and continuing its goal to be facilitative. Previously, as part of the ASHA Convention & Meetings team, Kate handled meeting logistics and housing contracts for ASHA’s Annual Convention and its Connect conference.

About the CAA

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accredits eligible clinical doctoral programs in audiology and master's degree programs in speech-language pathology. The CAA relies on a dedicated corps of volunteers serving as Council members and site visitors to accomplish the work of the accreditation program.
